Can't find the deletion option

Facebook offers a 'Deactivate' option that is NOT the same as deletion. Deactivation hides your profile, removes your name from most things, and prevents anyone from viewing your profile. But Facebook keeps all your data, and you can reactivate at any time simply by logging back in.
