Before You Start

Download your Facebook data via Settings > Your Information > Download Your Information. This includes photos, posts, messages, and your profile information.
Make sure you have access to the email address associated with your account — Facebook will send a confirmation link.

Request Deletion via Accounts Center

Under "Your Information", click "Account Ownership and Control".

Confirm Your Identity

Handle the 30-Day Grace Period
