Die Seite zum Löschen des Kontos ist sehr schwer zu finden, es gibt keinen direkten Zugriff darauf auf der Website oder in der Android-App. Ich konnte es nur über die iOS-App finden. Nach dem Absenden der Löschanfrage wird Ihr Konto nach 15 Tagen endgültig gelöscht. Klicken Sie oben rechts auf Ihr Profilbild, gehen Sie zu „Profil“ und klicken Sie auf die Schaltfläche „Mein Konto löschen“.

Klicken Sie in Ihren Profileinstellungen auf „Konto löschen“ und bestätigen Sie dann.
Scrollen Sie nach unten, klicken Sie auf „Alles über mich vergessen“ und bestätigen Sie.
Melden Sie sich bei Ihrem Konto an, gehen Sie zum Profil und klicken Sie auf „Konto dauerhaft löschen“. Bestätigen Sie mit „Ich bin sicher“ und klicken Sie auf „Konto löschen“.
Geben Sie Ihr Kontopasswort ein und klicken Sie auf „KONTO LÖSCHEN“.

Alipay retains your personal information for at least 5 years after account deletion as required by Chinese financial regulations (《非银行支付机构网络支付业务管理办法》). This includes transaction records, identity verification documents, and account history. After the mandatory retention period, Alipay may delete or anonymize your data. Your Alipay account cannot be recovered after successful deletion. If you previously linked your Alipay to Taobao or Tmall, those accounts will continue to exist but you will need to add a new payment method.
Alipay is one of the most data-rich financial applications in China. It collects extensive personal information including real name, ID number, facial recognition data, bank account details, transaction history, location data, contacts, and browsing behavior within the app. As a licensed payment institution regulated by the People's Bank of China (PBOC), Alipay is legally required to retain financial transaction records for at least 5 years. This means even after deletion, your basic transaction data persists.
No. You must pay off all Huabei, Jiebei, and any other outstanding balances before Alipay will allow account deletion. The system checks this automatically when you submit the request.
No. Your Taobao account is separate from Alipay. However, you will need to add a new payment method to Taobao since Alipay will be removed from your account.
Alipay states approximately 48 hours for processing. After submission, you cannot use your account during this period. If processing is successful you will receive a notification.
Yes. Foreigners must follow the same process. Ensure you have access to the phone number registered with your Alipay account. Passport-based verification accounts follow the same deletion procedure.
System says deletion not supported due to active services
Common causes: outstanding Huabei/Jiebei balance, active YuEBao investment, linked bike-sharing deposits, or active insurance policies. Resolve each issue listed in the eligibility check before retrying.
Cannot receive SMS verification code
If you changed your phone number since registering Alipay, you may not be able to receive the verification code. Contact Alipay customer service through the app chat to update your phone number first.
Facial recognition verification fails
Ensure good lighting and remove glasses or masks. If it continues to fail, try again during daytime with natural lighting. Contact customer service if problems persist.
Alipay does not offer a suspend or freeze option for accounts. If you are concerned about security but do not want to permanently delete, you can: remove all linked bank cards, change your login password and payment password, and restrict app permissions on your phone. Some users unlink all services and let the account remain inactive.
